As we have posted about recently, we are currently experiencing the time of the year with the shortest period of daylight.  Last week we experienced the earliest sunset around 5:30pm and in a few weeks we will have a day with the shortest amount of daylight for the year with only ~10 hours of daylight. But all that darkness doesn't mean you have to hibernate

How to get more hours of your day (light)

Warm LED down lighting Now that daylight savings time has ended, it is getting darker earlier in the evening.  And we haven't even gotten to our darkest days which happen during the winter solstice.  Winter Solstice is December 22nd and it will be our darkest day with only 10 hours of daylight.  Compare that to summer solstice in June where we have 14 hours

Fall Back this Sunday!

Daylight savings time ends this Sunday so remember to set your clocks back an hour.
