Revamp your Existing Lighting System
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!
This motto applies to a lot of things in life including Landscape Lighting! Maybe you bought some bistro lights for your patio but they don’t hang quite the way you imagined. Maybe you had your landscaping done and your landscaper added some light fixtures in the beds but it isn’t giving you the look you were expecting. Maybe you spent a lot of money on a state-of-the-art system 10 years ago but now half of it no longer is working and the other half used to look a lot better.
Landscape Lighting Guru often meets new clients who already have a landscape lighting system in place but they want it to be better. It may be the customer tried to install landscape lighting themselves or they have had somebody else do the installation. Like most things in life, it can be easier to just start over than to fix what you currently have but the Guru doesn’t take the easy way out!
The Guru will do an evaluation of your existing system and will determine what fixtures are working and what fixtures are worth repairing. He will count the fixtures and will consider if there is a better location to place the fixture in. This can be because plants have grown or because the light wasn’t used the way it was designed to.
Guru always tries to reuse what we can to get the results you are looking for. If you have high-quality fixtures that no longer work, you will be amazed at what a new LED lamp and some elbow grease will do to make that fixture work better then it did when it was new! If you bought some really nice bistro lights but they are hanging limply across the patio, the Guru can reuse your current string lights hanging them exactly as you imagined.
With all that being said, unfortunately not all fixtures are created equal as we have discussed here. If you installed a DIY Landscape Lighting system from a big box store, it is hard to recycle and reuse many of those fixtures. However, the Guru will make recommendations and provide a proposal for your review.
If you have ever tried to get great landscape lighting but are disappointed in your results, don’t give up!! Try, Try Again by calling the Landscape Lighting Guru at 210-710-7737 for a free evaluation and proposal.
