How to find Quality Lighting
One of the things the Guru is great at is fixing other contractors’ mistakes. We remove broken landscape lighting systems on a regular basis and replace them with new quality lighting systems that will last a lifetime.
Just when we think we have seen it all, we stumble on another situation that boggles the mind. A poorly installed lighting system not only often needs to be completely replaced, many of these systems we are dangerous fire hazards. Not only are do they pose a risk to you and your family, but a poorly installed system can also damage your trees and property if lights are installed incorrectly. Electric work should be left to the experienced professional and landscape lighting is not an exception to this rule.
One of the easiest way to spot a system that is doomed for failure is to look at the quality of fixtures to be installed. Lighting professionals who install quality systems are very particular about which fixtures they choose to install for their clients. You want a professional who installs high quality fixtures made of brass or similar material and come backed with a manufacturer’s warranty.
Another thing to look for when choosing a contractor is their experience and how often they install a lighting system. LLG installs and services lighting systems all day, every day! A handyman or landscape contractor may be willing to install a lighting system but they may only do it once or twice a year. In addition to lack of experience, are they willing to maintain the system, adjust as your landscape matures or come back when there is something not working? It is important to be selective about who does your landscape lighting, because you don’t want to pay for your lighting system twice!!

We will clean your current fixtures, replace the lamps (as needed), redo the electrical connections and reposition your current fixtures.
