Fall is around the corner

It may not feel like it yet, but fall is just around the corner!  After being cooped up all summer, we are all ready to enjoy the cooler weather.   It is finally nice outside to enjoy a drink on the patio dine al fresco or have a party.  However, the ultimate irony is that when it is finally not blazing hot in San Antonio, it gets dark earlier and earlier with each passing day.   We will lose over 4 hours of daylight between June and December resulting in evenings getting dark as early as 5:30!  As we close out August eagerly anticipating the arrival of fall and the relief from the summer heat, the changing daylight hours can be an adjustment.  While we don’t set the clocks back till November 5th, we are already feeling the loss of daylight in the evening.

The transition to cooler weather and the ability to spend more time outdoors can be quite refreshing. The irony that just as the weather becomes more pleasant, the evenings get darker sooner.  So how do Texans overcome this great ironic obstacle to enjoy the cool evenings in their backyard?  The answer is as simple as Landscape Lighting!
